The Great Destroyer is a multi-channel surround sound video projection attempting to virtually recreate a forest setting in a gallery space (so you weave through projections situated throughout the gallery). All of the projections offer ‘picture-perfect’ flora and are accompanied by a natural soundscape of ‘the wild’; a symphony of birds, insects, etc. Occasionally we hear a lyrebird mimicking the sound of a chain-saw, car alarm, gun shots and cameras clicking as part of his mating call.
